Job summary

Bayer, a global leader in life sciences, seeks an operations professional to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash for its Hematology and Specialty Pharma portfolio in the US market. You’ll coordinate data, systems and pricing readiness across functions to ensure compliant service delivery and high customer satisfaction.

In this role, you’ll drive process improvements, collaborate with IT, Quality and Regulatory teams, and maintain strong relationships with sales and finance to optimize supply

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments; familiarity with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner-managed, 3PL-supported, or contract-controlled supply models.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical design across IT and business functions; translate regulatory, data and system requirements into practical actions.
• Strong cross-functional coordination, communication and stakeholder management across seniority levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support; oversee third-party operations and act as escalation point.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models; act as SME for contracts, controls and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions; strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance and marketing.
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness across master data, SAP, system interfaces, serialization, pricing and government programs.
• Align cross-functional requirements and controls with IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Legal and external partners.
• Lead integrated cluster plans; manage risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics and escalation paths; report updates to PMO and leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions on NDC-12 readiness and adapt Bayer’s approach to evolving external expectations.
