Job summary

Bayer is seeking a supply chain operations leader in the US to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash for Hematology and Specialty Pharma, ensuring reliable service delivery and compliant processes. You will collaborate with IT, master data, regulatory, finance, and commercial teams to optimize performance.

The role requires a Master’s degree with 5+ years in pharma or healthcare operations, strong SAP/ERP skills, and proven cross-functional project leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree with experience in pharma operations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations and supply chain.
• Knowledge of serialization and regulatory requirements.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management.
• Experience with SAP/ERP and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support; oversee third-party operations.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as a subject-matter expert for contracts, operational controls and audit inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance, and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement.
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, customer operations, pricing, contracting, government pricing and special programs.
• Align cross-functional requirements and standards, dependencies and controls with interfacing functions, such as IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Compliance and external partners.
• Lead the integrated cluster plans and maintain project risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics, documentation and escalation paths, providing transparent updates to PMO and leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions, e.g. at relevant trade associations, regarding NDC-12 implementation, ensuring Bayer's readiness approach reflects evolving external expectations and best practices.
