Sun Technologies in Poway, California, is seeking a customer support associate for a 3-month contract to handle inbound inquiries and order processing. You will manage high volumes of emails and calls, provide quotes, and coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and a proactive approach to customer care, with focus on building lasting relationships and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of emails and incoming calls from customers, ensuring inquiries are answered promptly and professionally.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes and handle order entry.
• Place orders and provide order acknowledgements to customers, supporting sales targets.
• Work with third-party vendors to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
• Start processes for returns and exchanges, meeting customer needs and departmental metrics.
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships through excellent customer care.
• Coordinate with production team on the manufacturing floor to ensure customer deadlines are met.

JOB DUTIES:

• Manage a high volume of emails and incoming calls from customers, ensuring that inquiries are responded to promptly, accurately, and professionally.


• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes and handle order entry.


• Place orders and provide order acknowledgements to customers in an efficient and effective manner, while ensuring sales targets are met.


• Work with third-party vendors to ensure that orders are processed and delivered on time, while meeting company standards.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. Experience in distribution or manufacturing preferred.


• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure while ensuring that departmental metrics and industrial standards are maintained.


• Sound understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to multitask within Microsoft Windows.
