Vallen USA is seeking a Customer Service Representative at a customer site to deliver exceptional service while procuring products that meet price, quality, and reliability standards. You will manage stock and non-stock purchases, coordinate vendor activities, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in procurement preferred.
• Excellent customer service.
• Computer skills and aptitude to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Procure products and materials to meet the customer's current and anticipated demand.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Assess vendors and items to ensure specifications, quality, pricing, and delivery standards.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of supplied products; coordinate returns if needed.
• Follow up on purchase orders with vendors and communicate status to customers.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and document them.
• Follow all SOPs and maintain a professional, clean worksite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
