Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work at a customer location, delivering exceptional service by purchasing products and materials that meet price, quality, timing, and supply reliability standards.

You will perform procurement activities, manage orders with vendors, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and cost savings for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in procurement preferred.
• Excellent customer service.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management applications; SAP preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Procure products to meet current and anticipated demand per purchasing strategy.
• Expedite or de-expedite orders for optimal delivery.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Assess vendors and items for specifications, pricing and delivery.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of supplied products; coordinate returns if needed.
• Follow up on purchase orders with vendors and communicate status to customers.
