Job summary

Vallen USA, a leader in supplier diversity and flexible supply chain solutions, seeks a Customer Service Representative to work at a customer location and procure products meeting price, quality, timing, and reliability standards. You will interact with customers and vendors to ensure smooth supply and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes excellent service, accurate documentation, and strong collaboration with suppliers to optimize costs and delivery performance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years procurement experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office; ability to learn ERP and inventory management apps.
Detail-oriented; ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and execution skills.

Responsibilities

Perform procurement activities to meet current and anticipated demand for products and materials.
Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
Assess and recommend vendors/items to meet specs, price, and delivery.
Monitor quality and timeliness of supplied products; coordinate returns/replacements.
Follow up on order status with vendors and communicate with customers.
