Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to fulfill customer orders and handle incoming calls. You will respond to product inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders via multiple channels, while negotiating prices within set parameters to influence gross profit.

You will build relationships to drive repeat business, maintain inventory levels, source products from various inventories, and coordinate shipping with cost-effectiveness in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–3 years of related experience.
• Reliability, organization and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Moderate computer skills; ability to use business systems and internet search to locate products.
• Product knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in.
• Negotiates sale price and purchase price within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improves processes.
• Expedites backorders and handles returns as needed.
