Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Customer Service Representative under close supervision to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls. You will handle basic inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders via phone, email, or walk-in counter sales.

You will help maintain inventory levels and coordinate with teammates to ensure timely shipments. You will influence gross profit within set parameters, build customer relationships for repeat business, and use basic computer systems to locate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 0–3 years of related experience.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities.
• Moderate computer skills and familiarity with business systems.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in.
• Influences gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase price within parameters.
• Builds relationships to drive repeat business and supports inventory management.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods and coordinates with Account Representatives.
• Expedites backorders and may assist with returns and shipments.
