Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions in West Chicago, IL seeks a Customer Service Coordinator to schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and plan and manage the shop work plan.

You will develop daily and weekly workforce plans, communicate with customers about updates, ensure parts availability, and uphold safety and compliance policies while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years customer service experience.
• At least 1 year hands-on mechanical experience.
• Willingness to travel and pass background checks, drug screen, and DOT/OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans to maximize customer service and productivity.
• Communicate maintenance updates and resolve service issues with customers.
• Ensure parts availability and manage external vendor timelines.
• Maintain shop productivity and coordinate with billing as needed.
• Provide strong customer service to encourage repeat business.
