Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to team with customers, schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan.

You will develop daily and weekly workforce plans, communicate updates to customers, ensure parts availability, and uphold safety and DOT/OSHA standards while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates/Technical/Bachelors preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Prior experience with service scheduling programs and diagnostic programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans to maximize service and productivity.
• Communicate maintenance updates and address billing or service issues with customers.
• Ensure Penske rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and hold them to schedule and quality.
• Provide excellent customer service and secure repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
