Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and plan the shop work program. The role is based at the Bethlehem facility, with Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM hours.

Responsibilities include developing daily and weekly workforce plans, communicating updates to customers, and ensuring parts availability and vendor performance. The position emphasizes service quality, safety, and efficient shop operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans by considering customer needs, unscheduled repairs, parts, technician skills and hours to maximize service and productivity.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates, schedule changes, billing concerns or service issues.
• Ensure Penske rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and on-time performance for outside work.
• Provide customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Perform other projects as assigned by supervisor.
