Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Brookfield, CT is hiring a Customer Sales & Service Representative to deliver outstanding in-person and phone support to commercial and residential customers. You will handle questions, place orders, and assist with local deliveries.

The role emphasizes customer service, relationship building, and adapting to new technologies while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a retail or wholesale setting preferred
• Valid and clean driver's license required
• Conversational Spanish skills are a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Green industry experience or knowledge of landscape, nursery, or irrigation products a plus
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new ways of working
• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
• Inventory management experience helpful
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
• Assist customers with questions and orders in person, by phone, or online
• Make occasional local deliveries using the company pickup truck
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for pickup or delivery
• Identify opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customers
• Collaborate with branch leadership to implement new technologies and processes
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and store tasks while ensuring safety
