Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is seeking enthusiastic customer-focused individuals for a position in Peoria, Illinois. In this role, you'll utilize your selling skills to build customer relationships, providing outstanding service through calls and online inquiries.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of sales or customer service experience, and excellent communication skills. The position offers a base pay of $15 per hour, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for commission and bonuses.

What You'll Do

• Provide outstanding customer service on all calls and online inquiries
• Recommend moving services, junk haul services, storage services and packing/moving products based on cost, availability, and customer specifications.
• Input information into internal software based on customer contact and solutions for all services offered.
• Obtain customer feedback through follow-up calls, both during and after moves; calmly and professionally handle customer concerns through inbound and outbound communication.
• Prepare related paperwork and documents.
• All other duties as assigned.

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in a related field preferred
• At least 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience
• Excellent customer service skills: effective listening and communication
• Ability to multi-task and enter customer data into software while on the phone
• Confidence to initiate customer contact and comfortable asking for the sale
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
