Job summary

RXO, Inc. in New York is seeking a Customer Operations Representative to support branch sales, enter loads, and keep customers informed about shipment status. You will track shipments, resolve issues, and prepare data in the Transportation Management System for accounting purposes.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated work style with capacity to work with minimal supervision or in a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training, with understanding of the transportation industry.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills; proven problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales with managing the branch’s key accounts.
• Enter loads and confirm notes about shipment status.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers.
• Track shipments from inception to delivery and communicate status to customers.
• Handle shipment issues and share updates with the Sales Manager and Carrier Operations Group.
• Enter information into the Transportation Management System (TMS) and prepare loads for accounting; ensure entries are accurate.
• Communicate all shipment, billing or follow-up issues to the Sales Manager and Carrier Operations Group.
• Prioritize daily workload and focus of accounts, including load entry, tracking and reporting.
• Monitor report cards.
