Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker in the United States to provide a distinctive client experience, handle transactions, and educate clients on digital banking tools. You will support the sales process through outbound calls and identify client needs to refer to branch specialists.

The role requires flexibility for scheduling, some travel, and weekend/extended hours as needed. The position emphasizes adherence to policies, active participation in team routines, and ongoing product knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling transactions accurately.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs and online banking.
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and services.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk policies; stay updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
