Job summary

Truist is seeking a client-focused team member to handle a variety of teller and customer service transactions while building relationships with clients. You will guide customers through digital banking options, participate in outbound calls, and refer opportunities to specialists to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service banking options (ATMs, Online/Mobile).
• Support sales by outbound calls, offers review, and referrals to branch team or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Maintain policies, procedures and risk controls; stay informed of changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution; handle branch workload.
