Job summary

Truist is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely client transactions and superior service while understanding client financial needs. The role involves outbound calling, promoting digital banking, and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities within a regular full-time schedule.

Essential duties include educating clients on self-service options, handling complex transactions with guidance, and contributing to sales processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with travel may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and refer opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in leadership routines and training.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve clients.
• Adhere to controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
