Job summary

Truist seeks an Universal Banker to provide timely, accurate client transactions and thorough record-keeping while understanding client financial needs. The role involves cross-training to support sales and outbound calling, with a focus on Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.

The position requires strong client service skills, ability to educate clients on digital banking, and familiarity with branch operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software needed for branch automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling transactions accurately.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities for branch team members.
• Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in established Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay updated on policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, managing workload as branch demands.
