Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently during transactions.
• Handles cash, checks and credit cards per policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provides proper customer service and greets customers, adheres to policies, rings up customers promptly, and invites them to return.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains professional appearance and wears name tag.
• Assists management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers.
