Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and have product knowledge to enhance shopper satisfaction. The role requires a proactive, vigilant approach and strong communication in a dynamic retail setting.

You will help maintain store appearance, support management with sales floor merchandising, handle transactions accurately, and follow all company policies and procedures. This is a fast-paced in-store position supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintains and cleans store areas as assigned.
• Provides courteous customer service and greets customers.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Keeps a professional appearance with a name tag.
• Assists in merchandising sales floor per stock levels.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Assists Store Manager with loss prevention and reporting incidents of theft.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
