Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service, and to develop knowledge of the merchandise to enhance shopper satisfaction.

This role requires a proactive, vigilant individual who engages customers, communicates effectively, and helps maintain a positive in-store work culture. The Sales Associate will support store operations, assist with pricing, handle transactions, and participate in loss prevention and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight.
• Assists with price changes/markdowns.
• Balances register according to company policy.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Maintains proper customer service such as greeting customers and following store policies.
• Explains exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Supports loss prevention procedures and reports incidents as needed.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
