Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Project Lead in Stockton, CA, to act as the voice of the customer from order to on-site delivery. You will coordinate with engineering, production planning, transportation and accounting to ensure on-time completion and adherence to contract documents.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years of project management experience, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Civil Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to read production schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience within construction or precast concrete industry.

Responsibilities

• The ‘voice of the customer’ in OI facilities and lead customer liaison across projects.
• Manage multiple sales orders concurrently.
• Coordinate turnover meetings and scheduling from sale to production to delivery.
• Be the main contact for customers and vendors on assigned orders.
• Direct and oversee project teams including engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement and accounting.
• Prepare change order proposals as needed.
• Monitor progress and proactively solve issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and systems.
• Coordinate site visits and resolve issues from sale to completion.
• Manage submittals/approvals with customers as required.
• Communicate with Transportation on delivery needs.
• Collaborate with plant manager to optimize long-term scheduling.
