Job summary

The Project Lead serves as the customer’s voice from sale through on-site delivery, coordinating with engineering, production, and transportation to ensure 100% satisfaction on every order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Civil Eng preferred.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 2+ years MS Office experience.
• Experience with production schematics/engineering drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Spanish bilingual is preferred.
• Experience in construction or precast concrete industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of the customer in OI facilities.
• Manage multiple sales orders concurrently.
• Coordinate turnover meetings and schedule with production.
• Serve as main contact for customers and vendors.
• Guide project team across engineering, planning, transportation, and accounting.
• Prepare change order proposals.
• Monitor progress from sale to completion; problem solve.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes.
• Coordinate site visits and resolve issues from sale to completion.
• Identify and requisition special purchase items.
• Manage submittals/approvals with customers.
• Communicate initial delivery needs with Transportation.
• Work with plant manager to minimize scheduling conflicts.
• Meet Requested Ship Date.
