Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for the Palm Springs, CA store to lead a high-performing selling culture and customer-focused service.

You will drive sales and service KPIs through coaching, day-to-day execution of SOPs, and strong leadership across front-end and operations. You will oversee POS/Self-Checkout usage, loyalty program enrollment, and in-store programs like Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, and BOPIS/Same Day Delivery while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Oversee store operations, including front-end and service standards, promoting a high-performing selling culture.
• Coach the team to deliver best-in-class customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership during shifts.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems and support smooth transactions.
