Job summary

Michaels is seeking store team members in Suffolk, VA to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products. You will handle checkout and cash handling, enroll customers in rewards programs, and participate in store recovery and merchandising duties.

The role involves assisting with omni-channel processes and maintaining knowledge of store policies while promoting a positive store image.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to perform cash handling to standards.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and early mornings as needed.

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
