Job summary

The City and County of Denver is seeking an IT Technician II to provide desktop support for Denver’s Technology Services. You’ll install and repair hardware and software, document issues, and help maintain an up-to-date inventory while assisting on-site and remote staff across the Denver metro area.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of Information Technology experience performing user support of desktop, legacy systems and/or IT communications systems.
• Graduation from high school or GED, HiSET or TASC; equivalency possible with additional education.
• Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application and CJIS clearance within probation.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, replace, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Document incidents and requests in a timely, efficient manner.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and services in the knowledge base.
• Support remote and on-site staff; coordinate with vendors for warranty work.
