TEKsystems is seeking an IT Support Technician in Denver, CO. The role provides over-the-phone, remote, and desk-side support for hardware, software, and mobile devices. The candidate should be eager to grow in IT and handle first-level inquiries from phone, email, and walk-ins.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, solid troubleshooting, and onsite availability with occasional travel within the Denver Metro area. A High School Diploma and 1–3 years in a help desk are preferred.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required.
Experience: 1-3 years in a professional Help Desk or IT Support role preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Construction industry knowledge is a plus.
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service as the first-level support contact (phone, email, walk-in).
Document, track, and resolve technical issues, including password resets and user setups.
Provide application and hardware support, image laptops, and configure workstations.
Escalate Level 2+ issues to senior technicians or appropriate support groups.
Maintain understanding of core technologies (networking, telephony, OS, hardware, security).
Assist with ticketing systems and follow established guidelines.
