Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Algonquin, IL seeks a front-of-store leader to promote an excellent customer experience and supervise Associates at the front of the store. You will train staff, manage POS coverage, and promote loyalty programs while ensuring compliance with policies and safety.

You will work flexible hours including nights and weekends, with opportunities across TJ Maxx and other banners. The position offers a competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong merchandising techniques understanding.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to adapt to changes and unexpected situations.
• Team player and capable of training others.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience and oversee front-of-store Associates.
• Lead by example to engage customers and promote loyalty programs.
• Assign registers and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
• Respond to customer concerns promptly and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Ensure tasks align with store plan and communicate priorities with management.
• Support training needs and labor law compliance.
• Promote safety and program adherence.
• Other duties as assigned.
