Job summary

CarMax in Memphis is seeking a Customer Specialist in Training to deliver an iconic, customer-first experience throughout the vehicle journey. You will support buyers and sellers, assist with appraisals, paperwork, and service coordination in a fast-paced setting.

You will learn hands-on while handling diverse tasks, from vehicle checks to payments, ensuring accuracy and a smooth, transparent process aligned with CarMax values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and accurately read/transcribe data.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing.
• Conduct accurate vehicle condition assessments for appraisals.
• Manage inventory processes, including vehicle check-in and reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to meet CarMax Quality Standards.
• Coordinate service appointments and review repair orders for billing accuracy.
