Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Wind Gap, PA is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to support customers in person and by phone, ensuring accurate order processing and a smooth delivery experience.

You will work with sales and office teams to keep orders moving from purchase through delivery, manage payments, and assist with showroom operations. This role requires strong communication, computer skills, and a team-oriented attitude to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and listening skills.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Cash-handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Sound judgment with customer or vendor questions.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately into the company system.
• Process customer payments and ensure transactions are applied to the correct accounts.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment per company policy.
• Prepare daily deposits following company procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer questions professionally and promptly.
• Schedule customer deliveries accurately and conveniently.
• Maintain open orders and communicate updates to customers.
• Research and resolve customer questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Complete daily reports and required office tasks.
• Support showroom operations, including displays and tagging.
• Assist the Office Manager with additional responsibilities as needed.
