Ashley Furniture is seeking a friendly, organized Customer Service Representative to join the Regency Management Services team in Freehold, NJ. You will support customers in person and over the phone, ensure accurate order processing, and collaborate with sales and office teams to keep orders moving from purchase to delivery.

The role emphasizes empathy, problem solving, and teamwork, with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience in a busy retail showroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and listening skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Cash-handling and basic math skills.
• Strong organization and multitasking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately and completely into the system.
• Process customer payments and ensure transactions are applied to the correct accounts.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment per policy.
• Prepare daily deposits following procedures.
• Answer calls and respond to customer questions professionally and promptly.
• Schedule customer deliveries accurately and conveniently.
• Maintain open orders and communicate updates to customers.
• Research and resolve questions or concerns with empathy.
• Support showroom operations, displays, tagging, and a customer-friendly environment.
• Assist the Office Manager with additional tasks as needed.
