Job summary

Ashley Furniture, part of Regency Management Services, seeks a Customer Service Representative to enhance customer experiences both in-store and over the phone. You will assist with orders, payments, deliveries, and showroom tasks while collaborating with sales and office teams to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes a friendly, organized approach, strong communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment. Evening/weekend availability and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and listening skills.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and other basic figures.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately and completely into the company system.
• Process customer payments and ensure transactions are applied to the proper accounts.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare daily deposits following company procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer questions professionally and promptly.
• Schedule customer deliveries accurately and conveniently.
• Maintain open orders and communicate order and delivery updates to customers.
• Research and resolve customer questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Complete daily reports and required office tasks.
• Support showroom operations, including displays, tagging, and maintaining a customer-friendly environment.
• Work closely with sales and office team members to support an exceptional customer experience.
• Assist the Office Manager with additional responsibilities as needed.
