Job summary

Michaels is seeking a customer-focused team member for an in-store role in Alexandria, LA. You will help customers find products, assist with checkout, and introduce them to our rewards and credit options while upholding store standards.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, planograms, and ensuring merchandise is in stock. You will also assist with BOPIS/SFS processes and adhere to SOPs and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and perform merchandise recovery and returns handling.
• Follow SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with policies and laws.
