Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Store Team Member to assist customers, locate products, and deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising while upholding our store standards and policies.

The role involves omni-channel duties (BOPIS/SFS), rewards enrollment, and cross-training in framing sales. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred and the position requires standing and mobility

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back processes
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
