Job summary

Michaels in Alexandria, VA is hiring store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks and stocking, while maintaining planograms and in‑stock conditions.

Responsibilities include assisting with BOPIS/SFS processes, supporting shrink and safety programs, and cross-training in Custom Framing sales and production. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling
• Engage customers in Rewards, Private Label Credit Cards, and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs)
• Complete merchandise recovery and in-stock store maintenance
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; foster a positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
