Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused team member to provide friendly service, resolve returns, support order pickup, and process transactions accurately on the register.

You will mentor new hires and uphold privacy and security standards while promoting Nordstrom Loyalty programs. Hours vary based on business needs, including evenings and weekends, with a strong emphasis on relationship building and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency across MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training for onboarding new hires.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership, accountability and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish.
• Resolve returns and exchanges and support order/pickup inquiries.
• Accurately process transactions using POS and store systems.
• Mentor new employees on register operations and onboarding.
• Protect customer information and ensure privacy and security compliance.
• Promote Nordstrom Loyalty and other tools to enhance customer experience.
