Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a customer service team member to deliver friendly service, resolve returns and support order pickup. You will process transactions, protect customer privacy, and mentor new hires on the register.

Hours vary based on business needs, including evenings and weekends, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
• Accurately process transactions and ticketing using POS and store systems to support inventory accuracy.
