Job summary

CarMax Gulfport, MS is hiring a Customer Specialist in Training to deliver a customer-first experience across buying, selling, and servicing vehicles. You will support appraisals, sales processes, and administrative tasks in a hands-on learning environment at a busy CarMax store.

You will participate in inventory, appraisal documentation, and service coordination while upholding CarMax standards and EH&S policies as part of a collaborative team in Gulfport.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and confidence representing CarMax.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Conduct vehicle condition assessments for appraisals and communicate findings to Buyers.
• Manage vehicle check-in, scanning, and inventory reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to ensure CarMax Quality Standards.
• Handle administrative tasks: printing reports, paperwork, and payments.
• Coordinate service appointments and review repair invoices for billing accuracy.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
