Job summary

CarMax in Greenville, NC is seeking a Customer Specialist in Training to deliver a customer-first experience across sales, appraisals, and service coordination. You will act as a trusted guide through the car journey, supporting customers from start to finish.

You will perform vehicle condition assessments, document findings, handle paperwork, assist with service appointments, and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate billing and a smooth, transparent process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and transcribe data accurately and manage documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service guiding customers through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Conduct vehicle condition assessments and document findings for appraisals.
• Manage inventory check-in, scanning, and reconciliation processes.
• Coordinate service appointments and review repair orders for billing accuracy.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
