Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join a team focused on delivering best-in-class pest control service. You will field calls, schedule visits, and optimize routes to reduce drive time for technicians, while maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring privacy.

This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork within a growing branch. You will be trained in our system and processes, enabling you to handle inquiries efficiently and support overall satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers to schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Navigate a Windows-based and Web-based system to track routes and optimize current and future schedules—training will be provided.
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time and/or distance and recommend alternative routes.
• Identify the customer’s concern and evaluate their needs.
• Maintain customer database with call details, payments, and other results.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes, programs, and initiatives.
• Safeguards customer’s privacy and proprietary information
