Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador, delivering stellar service, handling administrative tasks, and supporting store operations. You will assist with sales orders, customer accounts, and financial procedures while collaborating with the store team.

This role requires hosting customers, handling payments, and using POS and store software. A team-oriented, flexible, and detail-focused approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable Microsoft Office Suite and system transactions.
• 1 year of customer service, office, and/or administrative experience, preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; including rotation for store opening and closing responsibilities – various shifts.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at front desk and deliver warm, professional service.
• Process sales orders accurately and obtain necessary approvals.
• Manage customer accounts and assist with financing arrangements.
• Handle cash and reconcile transactions under supervision.
• Address customer inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist with audits, inventory processes, and paperwork compliance.
• Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and store staff for smooth operations.
• Utilize POS, store software, and Microsoft Office to perform duties.
