CarMax in Covington, LA is seeking a Customer Specialist in Training to guide customers through buying, selling, or servicing vehicles, while learning hands-on in a fast-paced setting. You’ll handle vehicle appraisals, paperwork, and coordination of service appointments, with a focus on honesty and integrity.

Responsibilities include guiding customers through tests, financing apps, and vehicle inspections, plus teamwork across departments to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills and ability to assist customers.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and read/transcribe data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional customer service through sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
• Conduct vehicle condition assessments for appraisals and communicate findings to Buyers.
• Manage inventory processes including vehicle check-in, daily scanning, and reconciliation.
• Perform cosmetic inspections to meet CarMax Quality Standards.
• Handle administrative tasks such as printing reports, maintaining paperwork, auditing documents, and managing payments.
• Coordinate service appointments and review repair invoices for accuracy across teams.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
