Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in New York to deliver top-tier support and coordinate service visits. You will be the SME, field calls, schedule technicians, and optimize routes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You’ll use a Windows/Web system, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-up while upholding privacy and quality standards. Training is provided, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule service appointments
• Navigate Windows-based and Web-based systems to track routes and schedules
• Schedule appointments for technicians to minimize drive time
• Identify customer concerns and determine needs
• Maintain customer database with accurate information
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours
• Participate in quality assurance programs
• Protect customer privacy and proprietary information
