Ashley Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service in a retail setting. You will support store operations, process sales orders, manage accounts, and assist with financing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; prior system transactions experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service/administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays; rotating opening/closing shifts.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in-person, on the phone, and by email with a warm, professional approach.
• Process sales orders accurately; secure all required documents and approvals.
• Manage customer accounts and credit applications; assist with financing when needed.
• Handle cash following company procedures and reconcile transactions.
• Resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary, with follow-up.
• Support audits, inventory processes, and compliance checks.
• Maintain records, generate routine reports, and file paperwork per standards.
• Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize POS systems, retail software, and MS Office to perform duties efficiently.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
