Job summary

Floor & Decor in Pineville, NC is seeking an enthusiastic team member to greet customers and manage the customer storage pick-up process. This role includes fulfilling duties across the store and operating with our car topper program.

This is a full-time/part-time position with hours that fit a retail environment; base pay starts from $15.15 per hour, with higher starting pay based on experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of store management and associates
• Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience
• Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet storage buy customers.
• Manage the storage buy pick-up process with the company’s car topper program.
• Demonstrate knowledge and comply with the company’s phone answering SOP.
• Verify the identity of the person picking up the storage buy orders.
• Obtain required customer information for all storage buy pick-ups.
• Deliver customer storage buy orders in POS.
• Comply with safety SOPs for lifting practices.
• Be an expert in product knowledge and assist customers with questions and selections.
• Clean and stock products per Floor & Decor brand standards.
• Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core roles.
