Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to support shop management through timely customer communications and scheduling, inventory ordering and stocking, repair follow up, and maintenance file management.

You will help drive cost savings and customer retention across the area. Responsibilities include handling customer interfaces, issue resolution, and maintaining preventive maintenance programs, while coordinating with rental, parts, and service teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service with issues resolution experience.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Strong computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality and consistency of customer communications and meet customer expectations.
• Interface with customers, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate PM scheduling, follow-ups, and vehicle status updates; manage workflow.
• Create and update repair orders and maintenance files.
• Review maintenance reports to schedule preventive maintenance and campaigns.
• Coordinate with rental counter to identify repair requirements and substitute units.
• Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, and invoicing; coordinate pickups/deliveries.
