Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to support shop management with timely communications, scheduling, inventory ordering, and maintenance file management. The role includes assisting with cost savings and customer retention across the area.

The coordinator will handle customer interface, issue resolution, and vehicle status updates, while coordinating with the rental counter, vendors, and technicians to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in customer service with issues resolution experience.
• Strong computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality and consistency of customer communications to meet expectations.
• Handle customer interface, issue resolution, and satisfaction.
• Schedule PMs, track vehicle status, and manage work flow for branch productivity.
• Create repair orders for technicians and update planning sheets.
• Review maintenance reports to schedule preventative maintenance and campaigns.
• Coordinate with rental counter for repair needs and substitute units.
• Manage parts inventory including ordering, receiving, stocking, and PO processing.
• Suggest min-max levels and manage parts obsolescence and warranty returns.
• Handle shop calls and perform clerical duties related to vehicle maintenance files.
