Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Front End Supervisor to lead a team delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You will supervise registers, coordinate breaks, and mentor associates while promoting loyalty programs and maintaining store standards.

Strong communication, merchandising knowledge, and the ability to multitask are essential. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends; retail leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of associates at front of store to ensure prompt, courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs
• Trains and coaches associates on front-end principles and personalizing the customer experience
• Assigns registers, coordinates breaks, responds to POS coverage needs, and maintains a safe, organized store environment
• Promotes safety, adheres to labor laws and policies, and supports shrink reduction goals
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and communicates with management on priorities
