Job summary

Five Below in Hyattsville, MD seeks a capable store supervisor to wow customers through personal service, train crew, and maintain a fast, friendly checkout. You will help lead front-end operations and ensure merchandised areas meet brand standards.

You will open and close the store, supervise associates, recruit and coach, and collaborate with the store leadership team on merchandising and store upkeep. Previous retail managerial experience is preferred, and you must be 18+.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Leads store to achieve customer service score goals.
• Oversees front end operations and merchandising to brand standards.
• Keeps front-end equipment working and trains associates.
• Executes opening and closing procedures and maintains store cleanliness.
• Performs store manager duties in the manager's absence.
• Recruits, trains, coaches, and develops crew members.
• Reviews corporate communications and responds accordingly.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising and store recovery.
• Performs general maintenance and stock room organization.
