Job summary

TJ Maxx in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking a front-of-store supervisor to lead a team of Associates and promote an outstanding customer experience. You’ll oversee daily operations, mentor team members, and ensure the store meets its service and loyalty program goals.

The role requires strong merchandising understanding, multi-tasking ability, and adaptability to shift directions while maintaining high standards of performance.

Qualifications

• Merchandising knowledge and techniques required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Clear communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to changing directions and unexpected scenarios.
• Team player with supervisory potential.
• Ability to train others and lead front-end operations.
• Experience in retail leadership (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience at the front of the store.
• Lead and mentor Associates to deliver courteous service and loyalty program promotion.
• Assign registers, coordinate breaks, and ensure POS coverage.
• Address customer concerns promptly and maintain store standards.
• Train Associates on front-end principles and customer personalization.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and store policies.
